Unclaimed money is unheard of in many countries. But at the same time few countries are fighting a great deal to manage the unclaimed money. There are million of dollars of fund that are residing in the accounts for unclaimed money. And there are thousands of people who do not even know that the own some unclaimed money. How that is possible a question may arise .but that is possible as it very simple .you tends to move around live all your life in different states. Or even if you do not move around and live at same state there are going to many events you will be a part of.
And when the time will come you will not there for your share as you will not know off. This happens as also that there are lot problems with mistakes. Many people have the spelling mistakes that cause the problem. The most basic problem why the unclaimed money remains unclaimed that many people have spelling mistakes in the names and along with that mistake telephone numbers.
Now how is it a trouble for the state? As this is not as simple as it may seem. that managing and the funds and at the same time managing a data as well which may seem easy but there are millions of funds then It gets hard to manage it. There are many rich states that have the highest amount of unclaimed money but with passage of time there are many states not that rich who are also having the raise in the unclaimed money.
Different states have a different work plan to get the process easier for the people to get their money back but even then it is not that easy as it my seem. Why because the money is already unclaimed and if anyone is filling the claim it will take some time to be proven .this involves efforts into it.
Many people have argued that the government can invest the money into projects. And then later on with profit as well but the complications with unclaimed money retain it some time. Lot of people who have unclaimed money are from higher age group .people at old homes with there health conditions do not tend to have the time to work for it and get it back. But somehow no matter how the authorities work and get the work simple it will not be easy and very neat.
